Title VI

PARC is committed to holding and assuring full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statues and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI and related statues prohibiting discrimination in federally assisted programs require that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving financial assistance. 

Compliance

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Specifically, Title VI provides that “no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance” (42 U.S.C. Section 2000d).

PARC – A Service Source Affiliate is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of its transportation services on the basis of race, color, or national origin, as protected by Title VI in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 4702.1B. Filing a Complaint

Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice regarding PARC’s Title VI Program has the right to file a formal complaint through the PARC Title VI complaint form.

Any such complaint must be in writing and submitted to the Title VI Coordinator within 180 days following the date of the alleged occurrence. For more information regarding civil rights complaints or if information is needed in another language, please contact:
